DESCRIPTION:All Permit Applications filed on or after July 1\, 2026\, must comply with the 2021 I-Codes.\n\nTo support applicants\, design professionals\, and contractors through this transition\, L&I will host a second webinar series covering\;\n\n- Key Changes between the 2018 and 2021 I-Codes\n\n- Local amendments and modifications\n\n- Updated forms and procedures\n\n\n\nThis 1-hour session will provide an overview of the City of Philadelphia's Special Inspections program. This program provides for a specialized third-party inspection of selected materials\, equipment\, building components\, or projects\, as required by the Philadelphia Building Code. During this session\, we will review special inspector licensure categories and qualifications\; responsibilities of all involved parties\; steps in identifying required inspections and submitting certifications through eCLIPSE. This session will be held from 12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday\, June 17\, 2026\, via Zoom. Please register if you are interested in attending this information session. **Attendees can receive 1.0 hour of continuing education credit for this course.**
