  • MECHANICAL CONTRACTORS ASSOCIATION (MCA) MECHANICAL CONTRACTORS ASSOCIATION (MCA)

    Members of the MCA are signatory to the collective bargaining agreements with Steamfitters Local Union 420 and Plumbers Local Union 690 for the purpose of securing at all times a sufficiency of skilled journeymen steamfitters, steamfitter apprentices, journeymen plumbers, and plumbing apprentices.

     

  • SERVICE CONTRACTORS ASSOCIATION (SCA) SERVICE CONTRACTORS ASSOCIATION (SCA)

    Members of the SCA are signatory to the collective bargaining agreement with Steamfitters Local Union 420 for the purpose of securing at all times a sufficiency of skilled mechanical equipment service journeymen "MESJ", mechanical equipment service servicemen "MESS", apprentices, and maintenance operatives.

     

  • NATIONAL CERTIFIED PIPE WELDING BUREAU (NCPWB) NATIONAL CERTIFIED PIPE WELDING BUREAU (NCPWB)

    The M&SCA administers the Philadelphia Chapter (Chapter 9) of the National Certified Pipe Welding Bureau. The NCPWB works closely with U.A. Local 420 to provide state-of-the-art welding instruction and testing that meets all code requirements. The NCPWB provides cost savings to members by providing weld procedures in addition to tracking welding certifications and continuities for welders employed by signatory contractors.

    The Mechanical Contractors Association of America (MCAA) serves the unique needs of approximately 2,600 firms involved in heating, air conditioning, refrigeration, plumbing, piping, and mechanical service. They do this by providing their members with high-quality educational materials and programs to help them attain the highest level of managerial and technical expertise. Long known as "The Education Association," the Mechanical Contractors Association of America's array of programs, courses and conferences has been helping members learn the best in construction management since their founding in 1889. Membership with the MCAA is only available to members of the M&SCA of Eastern PA or another local MCA chapter.

  • MECHANICAL SERVICE CONTRACTORS OF AMERICA (MSCA) MECHANICAL SERVICE CONTRACTORS OF AMERICA (MSCA)

    Since 1975, the Mechanical Service Contractors of America has provided large and small heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration service contractors with management and marketing tools, training and education programs, and government and labor relations. MSCA has more than 1,400 contractor members and is a subsidiary of the Mechanical Contractors Association of America. Membership with the MSCA is only available to members of the M&SCA of Eastern PA or another local MCA chapter.
